About Us

  Klein Motorsports was started by Jacob Klein in 2023, however the dream has been around much longer.

​

  Jake has been a grease monkey from a very early age. When maintenance needed to be done on his family's farm, you can bet he was ready to get to work. He had a knack for taking things apart and learning how they work together to perform the task it was designed for. Putting the pieces back together was a very different story.

​

  As Jake grew up he taught himself basic mechanical principles. He strived to further educate himself, and would do countless hours of research on complex systems to understand them, which put him very far ahead of the curve when it came to diagnosing, and repairing them. 

​

  Jake's high school career was focused around Ag Mech and FFA. He was in a woodworking class when his teacher, and dear friend saw his potential. His teacher encouraged him to join the shop class and later FFA. It was here that Jake began to show his talents.

​

  Jake was working full time at a diesel repair shop, he participated and showed in several Ag Mech shows, he was an FFA officer, and he repaired and sold lawn equipment for his friends and family in his free time.

​

  He joined Tractor Tech, a Career Development Event through FFA. Tractor Tech is a three part competition. Team members appraise components and parts of tractors and agricultural implements and make recommendations for services needed and not needed, complete a written exam, and finally the team of three members, working as a group, will compete in locating and correcting five deliberately placed malfunctions in diesel fueled tractors. Then safely navigate the repaired tractor through a driving course all within the 25 minute time limit.

   His team went to state both years he competed. Jake took the initiative to teach his team and himself to insure their success for both the practical and written portions of the competition. Jake's scores were the highest in his school, top ten in the district individuals, and his team took first place in their district.

  After he graduated he continued educating himself through several training courses provided by shops and dealerships he worked at, and online schools. He is most trusted by his clients, and is motivated by their feedback. He has numerous letters from his previous employers proving his outstanding work ethic and knowledge. 

​

  Starting Klein Motorsports is Jake's way to protect people from becoming victims, while also bringing several communities together to share their knowledge, and encourage them to be creative with their projects.

  He has seen first hand people get taken advantage of by shops who claim to know what they're doing or "specialize" in something. It not only ruins the name for our industry but it also plants doubts and mistrust.

  Our mission is to create one hub for any type of enthusiast. A place where they can ask questions, get answers, locate parts, and support others. For those unable to do their own work, we are able to do it for you!
