This truck had too much power for the 1/2 ton rear-end. So, by customers request he got a 3/4 ton rear-end swapped into it!
There was some slight brake line modification that we did because we needed longer lines. The axle housing needed to be trimmed a bit for the left shock to clear. Also, the U bolts had to be fabricated to fit around the leaf springs.
Now the rear was converted to 8 lug but the front was left alone due to the cost of the conversion. This meant the customer had to order matching wheels in an 8 lug pattern for the rear.
